Virtual Rome - A Historic Creation by Google

Basing on the historical descriptions and remnants obtained in the excavations google has created a computer model of the ancient city of Rome. By this now we are able to view the grandeur of the city of Rome that was ruled by the emperor Constantine in the year 320 A.D. This creation contains 6700 monuments and 11 famous constructions including the Venus temple.

Plastico de Roma was the model of the ancient city of Rome developed by the archaeologists during 1932-1974. Google has taken this model as the most important basis in creating the virtual Rome. Bernard Frisch of the university of Virginia played an important role in this creation.
